Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic we have implemented procedures to ensure a very high standard of safety for patients, staff and visitors to the Practice.

The main objectives of these procedures are to achieve social distancing and cross infection controls during your visit to the Practice.

Social Distancing

Patients will have a telephone consultation with the dentist before their appointment in which they will discuss their complaint and it’s history, any treatment needs, update their medical history  and have a Covid 19 risk assessment.

The front door will be Locked even during the hours that the Practice will be open. We will only be able to treat patients who have prior confirmed appointments. So for enquiries and to book appointments call reception on 01372 462 577 during practice opening hour. Please be patient as  in phase one we will need to treat urgent cases first before starting routine dental procedures. Facilities for call waiting and leaving a message for reception to return your call will be available.

Patient appointments will be scheduled to ensure minimum waiting times and to allow for social distancing in the waiting area. All Dentists, Hygienists and Nurses will wear Personal Protective Equipment of the highest level , which is ( PPE Level 2) for all dental treatments.

Appointment times will be longer than usual due to the need for social distancing, preparing and cleaning of the surgeries between patients, donning and doffing of personal protective equipment and maximising treatments required if possible into single appointments.

Payments should be made by card if possible again to reduce the risk of contact.
